The Old City of York, England
York is a city located in the UK was founded by the Roman Empire only 70 years after the death of Christ. In this city once discovered many interesting places are very beautiful. In addition, many people say that this city is a very friendly town. Buildings in the city are spelled in the old-style architecture, so that makes us as if returning to the 70s. In this city are found hotels York UK reflects a long and rich history. Royal York Hotel elegantly with simple address Parade Station is a beautiful Victorian property built in the 1870s and surrounded by formal English gardens. It is located right next to the train station downtown, itself a historic building, and offers magnificent views of York Minster, the second largest of the Gothic cathedrals in Europe. Like many of England’s historic New York hotel within the city walls and just outside it, the Royal York is within walking distance of all major attractions.

Besides Minsteri, York England has many other historic attractions. Jorvik Viking Centre is located at the basement level of the Coppergate archaeological excavations discovered in 1970. Here is an excellent recreation of Viking settlement. Next to the imposing Tower Clifford Viking Centre of York’s medieval castle, originally built by William the Conqueror. National Railway Museum is the largest such institution in the world, and offers a collection of superb rolling stock, locomotives and other railway equipment. Even shopping in York UK will give a sense of history.

There are many specialty shops, galleries, and boutiques along the winding roads of the middle Ages called the Shambles. It is a narrow street in the city, with overhanging half-timber framed building that dates to the 15th and 16th centuries. The road itself is about as wide as the vehicle, but maybe the upstairs window to reach out and shake hands with your neighbor across the street. If you have time to get out of town, take a drive about 40 miles to the northwest to visit the beautiful North York Moors National Park. This wonderful town is never deserted by visitors, so come and enjoy this fun city.
